PWCommittee - MINUTES - 11/20/19750 a “i PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MLJSREGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 20, 1975 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Schaumberg at 8:00 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Dumke, Foldy, Colbum and Wallner, Mayor Gottfried and Supt. Bertram. Mr. Manske, 8700 W. Edgerton Ave., Greendale, Wisconsin, once again appeared to discuss the filling of lands owned by him on Lannon Drive and Hedgewood Drive. He was advised that the drainage study for that area has not been received. Chairman Schaumberg indicated that it would probably be a month before the matter would be discussed and he will be advised by mail as to the date. The connnittee reviewed the description of the easement from the tiichael J. Nowitzke property to Shore Lane and same was referred to City Attorney for drafting. Supt. Bertram reported that Mr. Beringer is still the owner of the lot at the end of Lochcrest Drive at the south turn which the city would like to obtain for drainage purposes. He will continue his efforts to contact him. The proposed meeting regarding the drainage plan for the Tess Comers area north of S.T.H. 24 and west of Tess Comers Drive was changed to December 17, 1975. Mr. Bertram advised the committee that the developers of Shagbark Sub- division have now complied with the requirements of the committee. The committee discussed once again the problem of the storm drainage from Lakeview Hills Subdivision through property owned by David Beierle. Building Inspector Lee will be directed to contact Mr. Beierle to urge completion of grading and the establishment of ground cover. Mr. Bertram advised the conrmittee that he has received the approved plans for the passing lane on Highway 36 and on Highway 24 in the vicinity of the Parkland Shopping Center and that the work would be done as quickly as weather will permit. Mr. Bertram advised the committee that there could be excessive fill from the construction of roads, etc. in the industtrial park and that possible disposal sites would be needed. The city's engineering firm will determine how much excessive fill can be expected. Correspondence from the Building Inspector's Office was reviewed and placed on file. Supt. Bertram recommended to the connnittee that the roads in Durham Meadows Subdivision be accepted by the Council. Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend acceptance of the roads in Durham Meadows Subdivision, seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Applications for employment were received and placed on file. Correspondence from Mr..Bertram directed to Rite Realty reminding them of several things which need to be done in the Hale Park Meadows Subdivision was received and placed on file. \,The committee reviewed Resolution $1253-75 regarding appraisal of the Lamb Nursery property in the vicinity of Gold Drive and College Ave. Mayor Gottfried was authorized to engage an appraiser for the property. \ Ald.
