PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON MAY 8, 1975
Chairman Shaumberg called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Also
present were Aldermann Ford, Foldy, Colburn, Wallner, Bldg. Insp. Lee,
Mayor Gottfried and Supt. Bertram.
Alderman Ford moved to have attorney Buckley check the contract with
the developers of Parkland Plaza to see if there are any areas of non- compliance, second by Ald. Schaumberg, carried.
The following people appeared to discuss problems with outlot maintenance
in Parkland subdivision.

Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Fiedeman Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Schumacher
Supt. Bertram agreed to do some ditching along Southern Drive to help
prevent water from running over lots on the Parkland Drive Court.
Bldg. Insp. Lee indicated that he has sent a letter to Melvin Daliege
regarding fill encroachment on the Gold Drive Pond.
The committee agreed to provide storm sewer under the Peerless Gear
parking lot in the Industrial park.
Alderman Schaumberg moved to have Ruekert and Muelke design a drain,ag,e
ditch for the east edge of Hale Park Meadows between Bristlecone and
Woods Road. Motion was seconded by Ald. Ford, carried. Ray Gray offered to pay for part of the ditch work.
The matter of no"stop"signs for traffic leaving the Rarkland Maabowas referred to the Safety Committee.
The matter of a plugged sewer at the Miller property on Lynn Oak Drive
was referred to the Sewer Committee.
Fountainwood Ditch plans and specifications were reviewed. Adjacent
property owners will be invited to the next meeting.
Drainage problems in the Tess Corners area were discussed at length.
Mayor Gottfried agreed to write to Roger Johnson regarding repairs to
the drainage swale in Shagbark subdivision.
Alderman Schaumberg moved to adjourn at lo:35 p.m. Second by Ald.
Ford, carried.
