MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 6, 1975
-m The meeting was called to order by Chairman Schaumberg. Also present
were committee members Ford and Dumke and Aldermen Colburn and Wallner,
Supt. Bertram, Building Inspector Lee and Mayor Gottfried.
Several residents of the Glenbrook Subdivision appeared at the meeting
for the purpose of discussing a number of problems relating to drainage,
the condititon of the curve on Woodland Place just north of S.T.H. 24 and
the restoration work following installation of sewers in that subdivision.
Gerald Lee reported that Victor Bauer is willing to raze the former St.
David's Church. Mr. Bauer will level the ground to the original grade
and remove all debris by June 1, 1975. The Mayor was directed to prepare
an agreement to assure compliance.
The committee reviewed the plans for the reconstruction of Kurtze Lane.

All residents of Kurtze Lane will be invited to attend the Public Works
Committee meeting on March 6, 1975.
Supt. Bertram discussed with the committee types of salt shed that he
would like and a location where they could be seen. The estimated cost of
same to be $12,000.00.
Ald. Dumke advised the committee that the State is continuing with their
efforts to reduce traffic hazards on S.T.H. 36 in the vicinity of Loomis
Drive. They have requested that the city consider paying for the install-
ation of asphalt de-acceleration lanes in that area.
Ald. Ford moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke, Motion carried.
