l MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 20, 1974
The meeting was called to order at 8~35 P.M. by Chairman Schaumberg.
Also present were Aldermen Dumke, Foldy, Mayor Gottfried and Supt.
Bertram.
The committee discussed the Woods Road reconstruction (between Ladwig
Dr. and Sandy Beach Dr.) in great length. Approximately 10 persons from
that area also attended the meeting. A proposed reconstruction plan was
presented for their information.
Two residents from Parkland Subdivision appeared at the meeting to discuss
drainage problems in that area. Mayor Gottfried to send them a copy of
Developer's Agreement and Plat.
Developers of proposed Shagbark Subdivision were present to discuss
proposed grading and roads and drainage plants. Ald. Schaumberg moved
to approve the proposed grading, roads and drainage plan for Shagbark
Subdivision. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Mr. Roger Johnson, engineer for
the developers, was reminded that a final plat has not been approved and
that a developer's agreement and covenants will be required as well as
a financial guarantee.to assure the city completion of the work if it is not completed prior to approval of the final plat.
Supt. Bertram reported that he has notified the Telephone Company to begin
relocation of the cable in the industrial park.
Ald. Dumke moved to release the sum of $500.00 to Paul Burbach (Woodhill
Subdivision). The money has been held in escrow pending approval by the
city of streets and ditches. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
The committee authorized Ruekert & Mielke to obtain the necessary description
of Tower Drive east of Racine Avenue in preparation of plans to consider
making it a public right-of-way.
The meeting adjourned at 11:50 P.M.
