PWCommittee - MINUTES - 8/8/1974a a 0 0 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 8 , 1974 The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Schaumberg. Also present were Aldermen Dumke, Colbum, Ford and Wallner. Mayor Gottfried arrived at 9:00 P.M. The following persons representing the Denoon Estates Corporation were present at the meeting for the purpose of discussing water and drainage ditches as a result of the Kelsey Road Project: Ervin W. Kraus Dick Mutter Edward W. Obremski Alfred Netter Dorothy & Ray Christenson Jack Mages Robert Banner Richard Lambeck Don Emo Mr. Reiske Mr. Wayne Salentine and Mr. Alvin Guhr were also present at the meeting for the d,iscussion. The coannittee will personally view the area of the Kelsey Drive project on Saturday morning (August 10) to review the matter with representatives of Ruekert & Mielke. Ald. Ford moved to approve the request of Frank Narlock to install a culvert under Hillendale Drive at its junction with Lakeview Drive in accordance with city specifications. It was further the committee's decision to have the city's highway department to cut the necessary trench for the installation of the culvert. Ald. Ford's motion was seconded by Ald. Dumke and carried. The committee received a request from Ray Footland for a week off without pay (Aug. 26th - 30th). Supt. Bertram reconnnended approval of the request and Ald. Ford moved that the request be granted. Second.ed by Aid,. Schaumberg, motion carried. The committee to invite owners of property abutting Kurtze Lane to next meeting to discuss proposed reconstruction of same. The committee to notify Mr. Frank Switala that the city intends to construct a ditch along the south side of Woods Road and to remove trees in an effort to reduce traffic hazard,s in the area. The Little Muskego Lake Association expressed~ their thanks to the Public Works Dept. for picking up the weeds that were cut in Little Muskego Lake. East Shore Lane to be reviewed by the committee.
