MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 5, 1974
0 The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Schaumberg. Also
present were Aldermen Dumke, Ford and Colbum, Supt. Bertram, Mayor Gottfried
and gue9Mr. Frank DeAngelis.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
'Q The committee is awaiting a report on the next step needed to obtain
Kurtze Lane.
Mr. Bertram reported the willingness of Cornelius Katsfey to provide
the needed drainage easement for his proposed land division. The
committee wishes to convey to Plan Commission the need to protect the
easement from plantings, etc.
A canine visitor appeared at the meeting at 8:20 P.M.

Mr. Bertram explained to the committee that two 42" arch pipes
would be installed at a new residence on Longfellow Lane. He further
explained that a 30" culvert was installed in error. He has advised
the owner of the property that the 30" culvert would be removed and
replaced with the necessary two 42" culverts, cost of the two culverts
to be $1,380.00.
The City Clerk was instructed to send out bills for paving of W. Tower
Drive.
The committee discussed the letter received from Dale Arena to Dorothy
Boldt regarding the possible exhange of lands in order to move Woods
Road sufficiently to the north in order that Mr. Frank DeAngelis's barn
would be off the right-of-way.
Mr. Bertram reported that the construction of a storm sewer between
Lannon Drive and Westwood Drive had begun.
Ald. Ford reminded Mr. Bertram to install sign on Holz Island.
Discussion was held regarding the paving of the balance of Silver Drive
to serve the last two lots on the road. Supt. Bertram will review and
report back to committee.
Ald. Foldy appeared to protect the $1,380.00 charge for the installation
of the culverts at the residence on Longfellow Lane. Alternate solutions
were discussed, such as a small bridge, etc. No action was taken.
l Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Ford, motion carried. The
meeting adjourned.
