MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 7, 1974 l The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Schaumberg. Also
present were Alderman Dumke, Mayor Gottfried and Supt.Bertram.
Mr. Ken Westcot appeared at the meeting to request the city accept sewers,
roads and inverts in Kurthwood Subdivision. He presented two bonds total-
ing $9,200.00 to assure proper maintenance, etc. of the invert for one year.
* Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council approval of a resolution accepting
the road, sewer and invert in Kurthwood Subdivision. Seconded by Ald.
Schaumberg, motion carried.
Mr. Bryce Styza appeared at the meeting to discuss the acceptance of
the roads in The Ridges Subdivision. Several potential driainage problems
were also discussed with particular attention being given to the drainage
easement between Lots 5 and 6. Mr. Styza proposed that $25,000 of the
$50,000 being held be released and a sufficient bond be furnished by
Lang Engineering or DeBack Construction to assure laying the final coat
of asphalt,and
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend acceptance of roads in The Ridges
Subdivision, subject to the above provisions, seconded by Ald. Dumke,

Discussion was held regarding the wide curve at the bottom of the hill on
Woodland Place north of Highway 24. The area will be striped next spring.
Mr. Frank Narlock has requested that the city accept the roads, sewers, etc.
in Lakeview Hills Subdivision. A balance of $28,535.91 will be
retained to cover cost of asphalt and erosion problem areas which might
occur next spring. Ald. Dumke moved, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, to
recommend Council approval of acceptance of the roads and sewers in
Lakeview Hills. Motion carried.
West Tower Drive was discussed as the residents have questioned the $220.00
established by the city for gravel and asphalt. A communication will be
sent to all residents on the road explaing the city's policy of not
accepting private roads without assessing costs of bringing the road to
city standards. Also, the feeling of the city that the assessments are
fair, etc.
The committee discussed Kurtze Lane.
Supt. Bertram reported that a diesel Ford truck will have 153 week delivery
and the International diesel truck would have a 12-month delivery date.
Neither would give a bid for the truck. He requested permission from the
city to order a diesel International. Ald. Schaumberg moved to recormnend
Council approval of the purchase of a International diesel truck for
delivery in 1976. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Supt. Bertram reported that he will install a 4' riser on the drawdown
tube at the bypass of Little Muskego Lake dam to aid in the drawdown of
@
Little Muskego Lake. Permission has been granted by the DNR.
The committee reviewed a quotation from the E. G. Artz Co. for a two tiered
balcony, the quote being $3,103.00. The committee directed Mr. Bertram
'to order same.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned.
