MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 3, 1974
The meeting was called to order at 8:lO P.M. Present were Aldermen Ford 0
and Dumke, Mayor Gottfried and Supt. Bertram.
llation of storm sewer The committee reviewed the following bids for insta
between Westwood Drive and Lannon Drive:
Tomasini Contractors, Inc. $ 20,940.oo
Koch & Boness, Inc. 22,880.OO
Garsky Construction Co., Inc. 23,780.OO
Leo Dretzka Construction Co. 19,980.OO
Brookfield Culvert Co. 15,300.00
Ald. Ford moved to recommend Council approval of the low bid in the
amount of $15,300.00 from Brookfield Culvert Co. for installation of
storm sewer between Westwood Drive and Lannon Drive. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to have the Public Works Department place a 26" culvert
or storm sewer on Groveway Lane adjacent to the Gultch property. Seconded
by Ald. Ford, motion carried.
The committee will review the Land Division Ordinance a8 it relates
to curb and gutter requirements and storm sewer between lot lines.
Ald. ~Dumke.moved to recormnena to Finance Cormnittee approval for payment
to DeBack Construction Co. the amount of $50,000.00 for work done on
Kelsey Drive. Seconded by Ald. Ford, motion carried.
The committee discussed the proposed capital budget for 1975 for Public
Works with Supt. Bertram. Ald. Ford moved to recommend to Capital
Budgeting Committee approval in the amount of $288,000.00 for Public
Works Department 1975 capital budget. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
