MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 20, 1973
0 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Schaumberg. Also present
were Aldermen Foldy, Wallner, Knudsen, Dumke and Czarnecki, Supt. Bertram
and Mayor Gottfried.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
a Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend to the Common Council acceptance of
the sewer utilities and roads in the Woodhill Subdivision and that
$4500.00 of the $5,000.00 bond balance held for completion of utilities
and roads be released and the $500.00 balance to be retained until the
city is assured that adequate ground cover to prevent erosion has been
established. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. This action was
taken with the understanding that the city receive $1,148.00 due them
for inspection and engineering services.
Mr. Bertram requested a transfer of funds in the amount of $4500.00
from Account i/552.06.,, Sand and Gravel, to Account f/552.063, Asphalting.
Ald. Dumke moved to authorize .said transfer, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg,
motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to authorize final payment in the amount of $12,729.00
to Gebhard-Nell, general contractors for the new city garage. Seconded
0 by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to authorize final payment to J & A Contractors
in the amount of $2200.00 for work done in the industrial part and that
$300.00 be withheld to assure the city that adequate ground cover in
the ditches will be established. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to authorize the continuation of the installation
of concrete invert along Richdorf Dr. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
A communication will be sent to Larry Schneider, Jewel Crest Drive,
regarding his asphalt Ztr. which overlaps city park land.
Mr. Bertram suggested that a sign be installed designating city hall and
that lights be installed in the parking lot.
Mr. Bertram to check with Gerald Lee regarding the drainage ditch between
Hale Park Meadows and Hale Park West. He will also check regarding the
culvert under Fleetwood Drive.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 1O:lO P.M.
