From DNR to Mayor Gottfried requesting drawdown of Little Muskego Lake to be allowed until next year. Bertram to obtain cost figures for the tiling across the Stefaniak farm to relieve water problem on Don Schrieber property. Mr. Frank Ruekert appeared to discuss sewer, water and grading plans for Industrial Park. The specifications are ready for bidding and Ald. Burger- . . meister moved to advertise for bids for sewer, water, streets and graarng \for the Industrial Park and that bids be opened on April 17, 1972, at 4‘:OO P.M. Seconded by Ald. DdBack, motion carried. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSEEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 9, 1972 Chairman Burgermeister called the meeting to order at 7:15 P.M. Also present were Alderman DeBack, Mayor Gottfried and Supt.,Bertram. Mr. Elmer Heilmann, representing St. Paul's Church, Tess Corners, appeared to view the plan of the proposed storm sewer through the church property. Mr. Don Schrieber, Woods Rd., appeared to discuss drainage problems on his property. The following correspondence was reviewed and placed on file. .‘\ \ 9 * i, & c a ,’ Public Works Committee City of Muskego March 9, 1972 Mr. Gordon Mross of Ruekert & Mielke appeared to discuss plans for the new city garage. Ald. DeBack moved to advertise for bids for the city garage and bids are to be opened on April 7, 1872, at 4:00 P.M. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Motion carried. The Committee will get an estimate from Behrens Moving Co. for the moving of furniture and books to the new city hall. Ald. Burgermeister moved to authorize two men from the DPW to work on a drainage problem in the vicinity of Holz Drive in cooperation with property owners in the area. Seconded by Ald. DeBack, motion carried. Ald. Burgermeister moved to have Wisconsin Road Crossing extend a pipe into Little Muskego Lake appaoximately 30 feet so as to make it possible to lower the lake level to approximately six feet at any time. Seconded by Ald. DeBack, motion carried. It was brought to the Committee's attention that the Public Works Department employes are not in accord with the proposed city's salary and fringe benefits offered. The representatives of that department would like more negotiations with the Finance Committee. Ald. Burgermeister moved to pay Michels Pipeline Co. $2200.00 on the Gold Drive Bridge project. Seconded by Ald. DeBack, motion carried. Supt. Bertram reported on tractor and mower bids. The following bids were received: Bosch Hardware & Implement Co. $4,735.00 Connell Equipment Co. 4,676.70 Milwaukee Ford Tractor 4,446.06 Eichstadt Implement Inc. 4,325.OO Oak Creek Equipment Co. 4,395.oo Ald. DeBack moved to recommend to the Council the acceptance of the Is bid of Oak Creek Equipment for a tractor and mower at a cost of $4,395.00 due to a better grade of tires. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Motion carried. Ald. Burgenneister moved, as seconded by Ald. DeBack that as soon as the deadend is opened into Schaefer's Woods (Suchalia property at S76 W19763 Sunnyhill Dr. in Hillendale Heights Subdivision, that the city would restore the land. Motion carried. Ald. Burgermeister moved to have Ruekert & Mielke draft the specifications for the rebuilding of Tess Corners Road from Woods Road to the County Line. Seconded by Ald. DeBack.
