MINUTES OF MEETING FIELD SEPTEMBER 3, 1970
Chairman Wollman called the meeting to order at 8:15 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen Burgermeister, DeBack and Dwyer, Mayor Gottfried, Building
Inspector Lee and Supt. Bertram.
Committee discussed drainage problem of Mrs. Vivian Salentine, S76 W17619
Janesville Rd. l Area will be viewed for possible solution.
Discussed changes to improve median strip in Lannon Drive north of
Janesville Rd. Committee will view the area on Sat., Sept. 5th at 11:OO AM.
Committee discussed dangerous corner of Muskego Dam and Kelsey Dr. Ald.
DeBack will contact Mr. Peters and Mr. Posbrig to see about making some
improvements.
Discussed property owned by the city on Durham Dr. and some safety
factors the city should consider.
Ald. Burgenneister moved to recommend to the Council to sell all buildings,
except the house, on the former Bluhm property, at an auction to be held
on Sept. 19, 1970. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried. l Ald. Wollman moved to recommend to the Council to advertise for bids
for the house and one acre of land on the former Bluhm farm. Seconded
by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
Mayor Gottfried is to direct a letter to the Waukesha Co. Highway
Commission regarding problems on College Ave and old Highway "Y".
Committee discussed tile in ditch on Saroyan Ct. It was agreed that the
tile must be removed from ditches.
Discussed Public Works Wage Requests for 1971.
Ald. Wollman reported on some garages that had been viewed by him and
Supt. Bertram.
Supt. Bertram reported on entrance signs for the city roads.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to recommend to the Plan Commission the approval
of the drainage in Les Fohr's Subdivision. Seconded by Ald. Wollman.
Motion carried.

Ald. DeBack moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister.
The meeting adjourned at lo:45 P.M.
