PWCommittee- MINUTES - 5/21/1970PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MDSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 21, 1970 Chairman Wollman called the meeting to order at 4:OS P.M. Also present were Aldermen Burgermeister and DeBack, Mayor Gottfried, Supt. Bertram and City Engineer Kelsenberg. Mr. Charles Spewachek appeared at the meeting concerned with the ditch next to his house in Fountainwood. No action will be taken until all committee members have an opportunity to view the area. Mr. Walter Geibel appear at the meeting concerned with road and drainage conditions on Lochcrest Blvd. Ald. Burgermeister moved to have Lochcrest Blvd. surveyed and that the proposal to Mr. Geibel be contingent on the survey. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried. Application for employment with the Public Works Dept. was received from Ernest Vilbaum, S65 W18654 Gem Dr. Application placed on file. Signs and Lights Co. have agreed to start to move the sign at the Country Squire on May 25, 1970. Ald. Burgenneister moved to prepare a resolution showing the city's intent of ownership of Gold Drive as suggested by Attorney Buckley in his letter of May 14, 1970. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried. Hillview Lane right-of-way was discussed. Ald. Burgermeister will contact land owner and report his findings back to the committee. A letter was received from Mr. Rudolph Heinrich regarding his property on Woods Road. Ald. DeBack moved to defer action until all the easements were in order for Woods Road construction. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Motion carried. Bids on sewers with alternate to repair roads were reviewed. The Committee will wait for recommendation from Engineers Ruekert and Mielke. Ald. DeBack moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. The meeting adjourned at 5:lO P.M. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE
