PWCommittee- MINUTES - 3/5/1970PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CI'IY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 5, 1970 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Budish at 4:lO P.M. Also present were Mayor Wieselmann, Aid. DeBack, Wollman and Sapp, Supt. Bertram and City Engineer Kelsenberg. Letter sent to V.F. Demshar, Highway Commissioner, from City Engineer Kelsenberg, was read. Subject; parcels of land adjacent to new C.T.H. "Y" at Hi-Y Ranches Subdivision to solve turn around problems. Letter to City Engineer from V.F. Demshar Highway Commissioner was read. Subject: Speed zoning on C.T.H. "Y" north of Highway 24 to C.T.H. "HH". Discussed drainage ditch at Tess Corners and culvert size needed. City Engineer will refigure prices on larger culvert. Easements for the construction of Woods Road from Lannon Drive west to C.T.H. "Y" were discussed. The following application for employment with the Dept. of Public Works was received: David A. Bilicki, S66 W18515 Jewel Crest Dr. Muskego Copy of easement was aeviewed of lot in Hi-Y Ranches. Attorney Buckley will give opinion. Ald. Sapp read a letter from the Little Muskego Lake Association concerning drainage problem at the corner of Lannon Dr. and Schubring Dr. Public Works will make possible corrections as soon as ground conditions permit. Specifications asking for quotations for all city used fuel oil and gasoline were reviewed by the Committee. Same will be sent to all local dealers in Muskego asking for quotations to be returned by April 2, 1970 at 4:00 P.M. Supt. Bertram reported on the bad conditions of the yard at the Post Office. City Clerk will send owner (Ray Eckstein) a letter with a request for him to blacktop the yard. Supt. Bertram on a utility pole that needs straightening at the lift station on Woods Road. Letter was received from McKesson Chemical Co. regarding the sealing of sewage ponds with bentonite to halt water seepage. Ald. Wollman reported on a drainage problem on Belmont Dr. Ald.
