0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 3, 1970
Chairman Wollman called the meeting to order at 8:15 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Burgenneister, DeBack, Dwyer and Foldy, Mayor
Gottfried and Ken Thode of the Public Works Depp.
a Mr. Flintrop and Mr. Posbrig appeared regarding the possibility
of installing a larger culvert in North Shore Drive adjacent to the
creek. The Committee will view the area.
Raymond Wallner appeared regarding a road extension for two lots in
Oak Ridge (Hardtke's) Subdivision. Committee will get more information
and will inform Mr. Wallner at the next Public Works Dept. meeting.
Fred Merkt and Ken Thode appeared to discuss salaries and fringe
benefits for the Public Works Dept.
Application for employment with the Public Works Dept. was received
from Thomas Grzybowski, 3312 S. 15th St., Milwaukee.

Ald. Burgenneister moved to redommend to the Council the payment of
$49,776.90 to Payne and Dolan for 7854.45 ton of bituminous concrete
material. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to recormnend to the Council the cutting
of trees for $600.00 and the grading of Gold Drive between Onyx Dr.
and Diamond Dr. in the amount of $3,200.00 from James Cape & Son, Inc.
Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
The widening of Gaulke Drive and the moving of Electric Co. poles
on Gaulke Drive was discussed. Supt. Bertram will inform the Electric
Co. to move the poles.
Ald. Bergermeister moved to recommend to the Council to designate
Oak Grove Drive to be a one-wary street. Seconded by Ald. Wollman.
Motion carried.
Ald. DeBack moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister.
The meeting adjourned at lo:40 P.M.
