MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 13, 1970
Chairman Wollman called the meeting to order at 8:lO P.M. Also present
were Aldermen Sapp, Dwyer, Foldy, DeBack, Burgenneister, Mayor Gottfried,
Supt. Bertram and City Engineer Kelsenberg.
l The purchase of new equipment was discussed.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to recommend to the Council to advertise for bids
for a road grader, bids to be in by June 18, 1970, at 4:00 P.M. Seconded
by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
Aid. DeBack moved to recommend to the Council to advertise for bids for
a new truck, plow and sander, bids to be in by June 18, 1970, at 4:00 P.M.
Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Motion carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to recommend to the Council to advertise for
bids for a roto-rooter for cleaning sewers - bids to be opened June 18, 1970
at 4:00 P.M. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
The Committee discussed the following drainage problems:
0 Tess Corners Creek - Ald. DeBack moved to recommend to the Council to
advertise for bids for placement of approximately 130' of culvert pipe
from Highway 24 north between Osborn Industries and Varges - bids to be
in by June 18, 1970, at 4:00 P.M. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Motion
carried.
Church Property at Tess Corners - The Committee will view the area after
the next public Works meeting.
Wentland Drive - The Committee will view area after next Public Works
meeting.
Highway 24 across from Lester Holz - Engineer will contact Construction
Co. on new "Y" to solve problems.
The dam at Little Muskego Lake was discussed. Federal and State Funds are in the process of being looked into to build a new dam.
The following roads were discussed:
Woods Road - Lannon Dr. west to Kacine Ave.
New easements will be drawn
0 Electric Co. will be contacted to move poles
Reconstruction bids will then be let
Field Drive - New Culvert will be installed by Public Works Dept.
Tans Drive - Committee deferred action until County has completed their
work in that area.
Martin Drive - Ruekert & Mielke will be contacted to draw up a plan for
road revision in the area of the Nike site.
9 Crowbar Road - First coat of blacktop will be applied.
Bay Lane - Highway 24 south to school - First coat of blacktop
.“~.,Woods Road - West of "Y" to S.T.H. 24 - Tentative Sandseal, second coat.
Lannon Drive - Martin Dr. to Blvd. - Blacktop.
Hi'-View Drive - Tentative sandseal
Hi View Drive - Ridge Road - Simandl Drive - Hi-Y Drive
ALl, to be sealcoated.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. The
meeting adjourned at 11:30 P.M.
