MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON MARCH 18, 1970
Chairman Wollman called the meeting to order at 8:lO P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Burgermeister, DeBa~ck and Dwyer, Supt. Bertram,
City Engineer Barry and Mayor Gottfried.
0 The minutes of meeting held on March 4, 1971, were approved and
placed on file.
Supt. Bertram reported on the possible problems of installing
culverts into lots in Parkland Plaza at the present time.
The Committee reviewed truck bids. Ald. Burgermeister moved to
recommend to the Common Council to accept the low bid of International
Harvester Co. for a pickup truck in the amount of $2,395.00 plus
$175.00 for the installation of an automatic transmission. Seconded
by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
Ald. DeBack moved to recommend to the Common Council to accept the
low bid of International Harvester Co. for a four wheel drive truck
in the amount of $21,200.00. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. Motion
carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved that culverts be installed where necessary in
the Jewel Crest area. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
City Engineer Barry gave a report on the bridge for Gold Drive. Ald.
Wollman moved to request aid for bridge on Gold Drive from Waukesha
County. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
Discussion took place on site plan and building for municipal garage.
Committee will invite architects to the next meeting to discuss a
city garage. building.
Letter received from R. W. Holz regarding a water drainage problem.
Supt. Bertram will check on the problem.
Applications for employment with the Public Works Department were
received from the following:
Harold H. Cook, S98 W12808 Loomis Rd., Muskego.
Ronald L. Foshey, W180 S6816 Muskego Dr., Muskego.
0 Letter received from the Waukesha County Highway Commission - Subject:
Quit Claim Deed from the County on a~ .24 a~cre parcel of land on the
corner of Rscine Ave. and Hillendale Dr.
Ald. DeBack moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. The
meeting adjourned at 1O:lO P.M.
