PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 19, 1970
The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Wollman at 4:lO P.M.
Also present were Mayor Wieselmann, Ald. DeBack, Supt. Bertram and City
Engineer Kelsenberg.
The following bids were opened for Sanitary Sewer Lateral S.T.H. 24 to
Dandlion Park:
DeBelak Bros, Inc. $12,950.00
Schroeder Plumbing Co., Inc. 7,380.OO
L & R Construction Co., Inc. 12,400.OO
Ald. Wollman moved to recommend to the Common Council to reject all
previous bids for Sanitary Sewer Lateral S.T.H. 24 to Dandilion Park.
Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.
Ald. DeBack moved to recommend to the Council that the low re-advertised
bid of $7,380.00 from Schroeder Plumbing Co., Inc. be a~ccepted for
Sanitary Sewer Lateral S.T.H. 24 to Dandlion Park. Seconded by Ald.
DeBack. Motion carried.
Ald. DeBack moved to recommend to the Council to advertise for quotations
for asphalt, road oil, emulsions and bituminous paving construction
requirements. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. Motion carried.
S. Robert Lentini appeared on a road problem in Hi-Y Ranches. He
offered to sell to the city a lot for $2,000.00 to solve poad problems.
City Engineer Kelsenberg will contact County to try to get parts of lots
left from construction of new Highwa~y "Y" to solve some turn around
problems on roads in Hi-Y Ranches.
The Committee discussed drainage problems in Tess Corners. Supt.
Bertram was given permission by Committee to install a~ larger culvert
in Muskego Drive.
Ald. DeBack moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. The meeting
adjourned at 5:30 P.M.
