0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 8, 1970
Chairman Wollman called the meeting to order at 8:05 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen Burgermeister, DeBack, Mayor Gottfried and Supt. Bertram.
Committee discussed Dept. of Public Works Wage Requests for 1971. Ken
Thode and Fred Merkt, representing the Public Works Dept., were present.
l The Committee reviewed the Public Works Dept. Budget.
Received letter from V.F. Demshar, Highway Commissioner, regarding the
storm sewer at Mr. George Schaefer's property on old Racine Ave. (Lions
Park Drive).
Letter received from S. J. Banaszak, District Engineer, State of Wis.
Dept. of Transportation, regarding speed limit on S.T.H. 24 from the
Milwaukee County line to Tess Corners.
Supt. Bertram reported on the possibility of a view corner at the
intersection of Muskego Dam Rd. and Kelsey Dr.

Received the following quotations for a posthole digger:
Milwaukee Ford Tractor, Inc. $295.44
Bosch Hardward & Implement 360.24
Ald. Burgermeister moved to accept the low quotation from Milwaukee Ford
Tractor, Inc. in the amount of $295.44. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion
carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 11:20 P.M.
