PWCommittee- MINUTES - 2/20/1969PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 20, 1969 Chairman Budish called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Budish, Aldermen Wollman and DeBack, Mayor Wieselmann and Supt. Bertram. Only one bid was received on steam cleaner for Pub1 follows: ic Works Dept. as Aring Equipment Co., Inc. Less trade-in - Cleaver Brooks Tank Car Heater - Model DS2 $3,643.00 220.00 New exchange $3,423.00 Ald. Wollman moved to purchase steamer from Aring Equipment Co., Inc. for a net exchange price of $3,423.00. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried. Mr. Ernulf D. Wiken appeared at the meeting to discuss a drainage problem on the corner of Martin Dr. and Oak Hill Dr. where he lives. Committee will view site. Ald. DeBack moved to grant permission to Wisconsin Natural Gas Co. to install 670' of 2" H.P. Steel main and 138' of 3/4 lateral to serve Harry Chic Jr. at W192 S7447 Richdorf Dr. Seconded by Ald. Wollman, motion carried. Chairman Budish moved to grant permission to the Wisconsin Telephone Co. to bury a cable two feet off the south right-of-way line of College Avenue and three feet off the northwesterly right-of-way line of Martin Dr. and to cross Martin Dr. south of Topaz Dr. as shown on sketch. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility received from Wolf Construction Co. and letter stating that they would appreciate an opportunity to submit a bid or estimate on our roadwork for the coming season.
