0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 15, 1969
Chairman Budish called the meeting to order at 4:lO P.M.
Present were Chairman Budish, Aldermen Wollman and DeBack, Supt. Bertram
and City Engineer Kelsenberg.
Mr. Ludwig Schroeder, W. Janesville Rd., appeared at the meeting indicating
a
that he did not think he should have to have two laterals coming into his
property. He was informed by the Plumbing Inspector that every dwelling
must have a lateral.
A communication was read that had been sent to City Engineer Kelsenberg
from Ruekert & Mielke regarding Woods Road construction. The Committee
agreed that the City would take care of Items 1, 2, 3, and 4. Number 5
will not be considered because the City plans on doing the construction
work on Woods Road.
Construction of Bay Lane was discussed and it was decided to contact
the owners of the Country Squire in order to obtain enough property for
the widening of the road. (Approximately 250' x 40')
0 Ald. Wollman moved to refer the changing of the name of the road sign
on Dougherty Lane to the Safety Committee. Seconded by Ald. DeBack.
Motion carried.
A letter was read of which a copy has been sent to the Wis. Natural Gas.
co., The Wis. Telephone Co. and the Wis. Electric Power Co., regarding
the taking out a permit before they can do any work within the City
and inviting a representative from each company to a Public Works
meeting to be held on May 22, 1969 at 4:00 P.M.
A date was set for May 26, 1969, 7:00 P.M. for the Public Works Committee
to view some of the problems concerning them.
A discussion took place on whether or not sewerage could be dumped in the
ponds from septic tanks being pumped when hooking up to sewer. It was
decided to contact Ruekert & Mielke for a recommendation.
Ald. DeBack moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. The
meeting adjourned at 6:20 P.M.
