l MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 6, 1969
The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M. by Chairman Budish. Also
present were Aldermen Wollman and DeBack, Mayor Wieselmann and Supt.
Bertram.
Mr. Franz Michels appeared regarding a drainage problem that exists
on his lot on North Shore Drive. His neighbor to the north, Mr.

Enderby, appear regarding the same drainage problem. It was decided
that Mr. Franz Michels will have to sign an affidavit that a ditch
will be put in to the satisfaction of the city and to be completed by
June 1, 1969. An Occupancy Permit will not be issued before ditch is
completed.
City Engineer Ruekert appeared with engineering information on roads
and the cleaning of the ditch from Racine Ave. to the dam on Little
Muskego Lake. He discussed beefed up road standards and assessment
policies on roads. He indicated that an assessment policy on roads
should be good for the city and that sooner or later we will be forced
we will be forced with it.
Mr. Raymond Wallner appeared proposing a solution to a problem of

water and sewage running down the ditch in front of lot where he is
to build a new home.
A report from the City Engineer was received regarding laterals installed
on Cook Drive.
Ald. Wollman moved, seconded by Ald. DeBack to grant permission to the
Wisconsin Natural Gas Co. to install the following:
1,931 ft. of 3" H.P. main in Hilltop Lane, Bellview Dr. and Bay
Lane to serve Richard Schaumberg, W165 S6641 Bay Lane.
376 ft. of 6" H.P. main and 1 3/4" H.P. lateral to serve LeRoy
Merkel, W126 S9587 North Cape Rd.
737' of 2" H.P. main in Lake Dr. & Wildwood Dr. to serve Frederick
Moors, S69 W17714 and Warren Osborn, W176 S6960 Wildwood Dr.
1,246 ft. of 6" H.P. main in Field Dr. to serve Ken Erdman,
S75 W21675 Field Dr.
426 ft. of 2" H.P. main to serve Robt. Iverson, S69 W17596 and
S67 W17647 Wildwood Dr.
6,362 ft. of 6" H.P. Steel main in S.T.H. "36" and 6 3/4" laterals
and approx. 2,000 of 2" laterals to serve Muskego Lakes Golf Course.
Motion carried.
Committee received specifications for highway mower and tractor from
Supt. Bertram. Ald. Wollman moved to advertize for bids for highway mower
and tractor to be received by the Public Works Committee until 4:00 P.M.,
March 6, 1969, and that the bid be accompa~nied by a bid bond or certified
check in the sum of 5% of the bid. Seconded by Ald. DeBack, Motion carried.
Report received of temporary wiring at sewer life station from Building
‘Inspector Lee.
Copy.~of l.etter was read that had been sent to the Wis. Natural Gas Co. by
the City and one written by Wm. Ahrens concerning unsatisfactory work that
had been done by the Gas Company on his property.
Supt. Bertram reported on a Road Equipment Show being held in Chicago and
requested permission for the highway men to attend for one day.
Ald. DeBack moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Aid. Wo lman. Motion
carried. The meet<ng adjourned at 6:40 P.M.
