PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 18, 1969
The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Wollman at 4:OO P.M.
Also present were Aldermen DeBack, Mayor Wieselmann, City Engineer
Kelsenberg and Supt. Bertram.
Mr. and Mrs. Parajecki, S74 Wl7398 Lake Dr., appeared at the meeting
regarding a sewer problem, their la~teral being short of the lot line.
More information will be obtained regarding this matter.
Mr. Ronald Ford, Topaz Dr., appeared at the meeting expressing concern
that fill being dumped onto a lot on the corner of Schubring and Lannon
was being washed into the lake. Supt. Bertram reported that the
problem will be taken care of as soon as weather permits.
Mr. S. Robert Lentini,appeared at the meeting to discuss drainage
problems in Hi-Y Ranches. The Public Works Committee will view the
area.
Five proposals were received to install a 4" sewer lateral to serve
the Samuel Jones residence. Ald. DeBack moved to recommend to the
Common Council to accept the low proposal of Schroeder Plumbing Co., Inc.
in the amount of $750.00 to install the 4" sewer lateral to serve the
Samuel Jones residence. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. Motion mrarried.
The sewer problems that were brought in by Ald. Sapp were referred to
the next Sewer Committee meeting.
The Committee received a proposal on street lights as suggested by the
Public Safety Committee. The City Engineer will get-a quotation from
the Electric Co. and report back to the Public Works Committee.
Ald. Budish arrived at 5:45 P.M.
City Engineer Kelsenberg reported on the laterals to serve the David
Beierle property on Racine Avenue. The State has given its OK on the
project even though the City does not take over the responsibility of the lateral from the manhole to the main.
Ald. DeBack moved to recommend a resolution on wages and fringe benefits
for the Public Works Dept. employees to the Common Council. Seconded
by Ald. Budish. Motion carried.
DeBack moved to adjourn, seconded by ,Budish. Motion carried. The meeting
adjourned at 6:lO P.M.
