PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MIJSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 23, 1969
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Budish at 4:lO P.M. Also
present were Mayor Wieselmann, Alderman DeBack, City Engineer Kelsenberg
and Supt. Bertram.
Mr. Dick Casper, representing DeBack Grading, appeared at the meeting
and explained the placement of culverts and other extras on Crowbar Dr.
Ald. DeBack moved to recommend to the Council that Item 2, machine
rental to DeBack Grading, in the amount of $329.00, less 25%, be
paid. Budish seconded. Motion carried.
Ald. DeBack moved to recommend to the Council that Item I, gravel to
DeBack Grading, in the amount of $154.46, be paid. Seconded by Budish.
Motion carried.
Committee decided that all utilities would be billed once a month for
any permits.
Communication received from Wisconsin Telephone Company regarding
whether there would be change of street name of Highway "Y" (Racine
Avenue) relocation. Communication placed on file.
Ald. DeBack moved to grant permission to the Wisconsin Natural Gas
Co. to install the following:
College Avenue and Racine Place to replace main that was
removed due to highway project.
Install gas main in N. Cape Road, Ryan Road and Groveway
Lane as per the submitted prints.
Seconded by Ald. Budish, motion carried.
Supt. Bertram will check on responsibility of contractors to repair
road problems on Richdorf Dr. and Lochcrest Dr.
The Committee discussed the Budget for the Public Works Dept.
Supt. Bertram discussed putting a blacktop mat on Lowell Dr. Committee
decided to do this i 1 sewer would not have to be laid in this street.
Budish moved that the Public Works Dept. contact the School District
to set up a meeting to discuss Bay Lane Dr. south of the school to
Woods Road. Seconded by DeBack, motion carried.
DeBack moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Budish. The meeting
adjourned at 6:20 P.M.
