MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 23, 1969
Chairman Budish called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M.
Present were Chairman Budish, Aldermen Wollman and DeBack, Mayor
Wieselmann and Supt. Bertram.
Letters were received from Mrs. Carl Lassanske, W137 S6823 Dunstan Ct.
and from Daniel Buschatz and family, S68 W16666 Oak Hill Trail,
complementing the Public Works Dept. on the snow plowing job done
this year on the roads in that area.
Aid. DeBack moved to grant permission to the Wisconsin Natural Gas
Company to install 597 feet of 2" H.P. main and one 314" H.P. latera~l
to serve Anthony Fencil of W174 57482 Michi Dr. Seconded by Ald.
Wollman. Motion carried.
Supt. Bertram submitted specifications for steam cleaner to the Public
Works Committee. Ald. Wollman moved to advertise for bids for steam
cleaner to be received by the Public Works Committee until 4:00 P.M.
February 20, 1969 and that the bid be accompanied by a bid bond or
certified check in the sum of 5% of the bid. Seconded by Ald. DeBack,
motion carried.
Letter received and placed on file from Wis. Dept. of Agriculture on
recommendations for control of Dutch Elm disease for 1969.
Letter received from Wis. Electric Power Company requesting the Public
Works Dept. road construction anticipated for 1969. Chairman Budish
will send the requested information.
Chairman Budis + ill also inform the Wis. Natural Gas Co. to install
gas lines in the areas where sewers are presently being installed.
Supt. Bertram will prepare specs for a tractor and mower for the
Public Works Dept. and submit them to the Committee at their next
meeting.
Discussion was held on setting up an assessment policy for roads.
Chairman Budish will contact City Engineers and City Attorney to get
ideas on road assessment policies used in surrounding areas.
Ald. Wollman moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald. DeBack.
The meeting adjourned at 5:30 P.M.
