PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 8, 1965
The meeting was called to order by Alderman Budish.
Present were Alderman Budish; Alderman Wieselmann, City Engineer Ruekert and Chairman Weaver who arrived shortly after the meeting began.
The main purpose of the ?eeting was the opening of bids for the drainage channel .running from Woods Road to Big Muskego Lake.
First bid for drainage channel was from Don DeBack. Quantity 36,750 yrds - Unit price 47.3 per yd. Total $17,382.75.
Second bid from Wolf Construction Co. Lump sum $12,500.00.
Third bid from Stack Construction Company. Quantity 3,&00~ Unit price 69.0 per gd. Total $2l+,l5O.OO.
The Committee will discuss the bids at their next meet'ng before any would be awarded. 9
The Committee felt the bids were high and as a result adjourned to go to view the ditch since the flow of water may indicate the possibility of reviewing and adjusting the specifications on the ditch.
Motion made by Alderman Budish, seconded by Alderman Wieselmann to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 4:30 P.M.
