PWCommittee - MINUTES - 10/7/1965, I PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 7, 1965 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Weaver at 4:2O P.M. Present were Chairman Weaver, Alderman Budish, Alderman Wieselmann and Superintendent Bertram. a Road improvements for 1966 were discussed. It was felt that major road improvements should be listed under one account number. Alderman Budish made the motion that $10.5',000 should be budgeted and listed under one account number and are to include Crowbar Road, Woods Road and Kelsey Road. Seconded by Alderman Wieselmann an&carried. Drainage problems in subdivisions and other areas were brought to the attention of the Committee. Fountainwood was mentioned as the most troublesome area. To be tabled until the next meeting. The drainage channel to Big Muskego Lake from Woods Road is to be included in the budget for 1966. Superintendent Bertrsm mentioned two drainage problem sites that are to be viewed, landowners to be contacted and 0 recommendations to be made later. Wages and benefits for the Highway Department men and Superintendent Bertrsm were discussed by the Committee. The Committee will discuss the matter with the men and then make budgetary recommendations. Motion made by Alderman Wieselmann, seconded by Alderman Budish to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 6:25 P.M.
