STATUS OF PROJECTS
Rosewood landscaping – All fencing has been completed except for the Johnson
residence. Ald. Buckmaster has been working with the resident regarding the final
placement of the fence. I will be sending correspondence to Ms. Johnson regarding
options she may have or in lieu of the fence. Once the options have been discussed I
will bring the issue and resolution to the Committee.
Tess Corners Pond Expansion/Drainage Issues New Berlin
- Final design completed November 1, 2003
- DNR is reviewing the funding and cost allocations for the grant.
- DNR fisheries and wild life are reviewing the wetland/prairie seeding plans
- Draw down and flood shadow work completed
- Waiting for approval from DNR to begin land acquisition
Janesville Road/Moorland Road Intersection
- Asphalt patches completed (temporary)
- Asphalt cores have shown incorrect amounts of base course thickness
- Ruekert & Mielke review shows survey crew staked incorrectly
- Additional cores will be completed week of 12/1/2003
- Repairs to be completed in spring 2004
Janesville Road Reconstruction Project
- 95% plans received from County
- Utility work began 11/20/2003
- Utility clear scheduled for 1/31/2004
- Bid date for project 1/2004
Martin Drive Realignment
- Intersection completed 11/4/2003

- Roadway opening was delayed for paving of Chamberlain Hill Subdivision
- Final punch list was sent to contractor on 11/10/2003
- Restoration items will be held at 50% until spring grass growth
- Settlement of pavement areas at Basse Drive will be patched and permanently
repaired in spring 2004
Durham Drive Realignment (McShane south to “OO”)
- 90% plans received in August 2003
- DNR review of wetland fills still pending
- D.O.T. funding application sent to District 1
- Final Plan submittal moved to 11/1/2004.
Quietwood East
- Pavement patch completed, waiting for permanent patch to be done.
- Pavement area still shows signs of settlement
- Recommending permanent patch be completed in spring 2004 to allow for
settlement over winter.
Big Muskego Estates
- Retention pond completed 11/1/2003
- Asphalt roadway repairs completed 11/4/2003
- Grading and utility work to commence through winter
- Final grading and roadways spring 2004
Lindale Estates
- Grading and topsoil striping began 10/31/2003
- Utility and roadway construction to begin 12/03-6/04
- Final grading and roadway in spring 2004
Chamberlain Hill
- Asphalt paving completed 11/13/2003
- Sump lines and storm adjustments on going.
- Final grading and restoration 12/03
Candlewood Village
- Asphalt paving completed 10/31/2003
- Curb and gutter and spot patching on-going
- Punch list sent out, contractor working to complete by 12/1/2003
- Moorland Road approaches to be completed by 12/1/2003
- Barricades will be placed at all dead end road sections.
- Final restoration began 11/20/2003
