PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE
MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD TUESDAY, MAY 24, 2005
Chairman Chris Buckmaster called the meeting to order at 6:17 PM with Committee
Member Robert Melcher present along with Engineering/Building Inspection Director
Sean McMullen, and Ald. Patrick Patterson. Ald. Neil Borgman was excused.
Chairman Buckmaster led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Chairman Buckmaster reported that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the
Open Meeting Law.
NEW BUSINESS
Request "No Parking" sign at W133 S6570 Fennimore Lane (east side of the street
due to excessive parking for Fountainwood Pool)
Ald. Patterson appeared before the Committee regarding congestion on Fennimore
Lane because of activity at the Fountainwood Pool. Mr. McMullen suggested posting
two signs that read “No Parking, No Stopping, No Standing Between Signs” at the
property addressed as W133 S6570 Fennimore Lane. Ald. Melcher moved to
recommend that the signs be installed. Ald. Buckmaster seconded; motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Melcher moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:27 PM. Seconded by Ald. Buckmaster;
motion carried.
