PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE MEETING – CITY OF MUSKEGO Approved
MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 27, 2001 MEETING

Chairman Nancy Salentine called the meeting to order at 6:50 P.M. Present were committee
member Ald. Butch Le Doux and Ald. Patterson, Public Works Supt. Wayne Delikat, and those
per the attached list.
The meeting was posted in accordance with the Open Meeting Law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Ald. Patterson moved to approve the minutes of the October 22,
2001 meeting. Seconded by Ald. Le Doux, motion carried.
STATUS OF PROJECTS - Nothing was discussed because of the time allotted for this
meeting.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Discuss Urban/Rural Drainage – Nothing new to report.
Status of Public Works Committee procedures and policies – Nothing new to report.
Further discussion of flooding problems on Circle Drive – Deferred.
Further review of drainage diversion request – Rosewood Estates (Don Miller) –
Removed.
NEW BUSINESS
Review Martin Estates Stormwater & Construction Plan Review – Chairman Salentine
advised that Sean McMullen, Engineering/Building Inspection Director reviewed the storm
water standard agreement for Martin Estates and he is recommending approval of this
agreement. Upon completion of outstanding items, the construction plans will be brought forth
to the committee at a later date. Ald. Le Doux moved to approve the storm water standard
agreement for Martin Estates. Seconded by Ald. Patterson, motion carried.
Review quotes on used equipment & trucks - Bid advertisement had been put in the City’s
official pape. The following high bids were received:
1988 International Truck
Village of North Prairie $10,001.00
Schaefer Snowplowing $10,085.00
EM Corp. $ 9,850.00
Berg Construction $10,103.00
1971 International Truck

Berg Construction $ 1,103.00
Ald. Patterson moved to accept high bid of $10,103.00 from Berg Construction for the 1988
International Truck L-800 and $1,103.00 from Berg Construction for the 1971 International
Truck M-412. Seconded by Ald. Le Doux, motion carried.
Highway Superintendent’s Report – Nothing to report.
ADJOURNMENT - There being no further business, Ald. Patterson moved to adjourn the
meeting at 6:55 PM. Seconded by Ald. Le Doux, motion carried.
