Present was committee members Ald. Chiaverotti. Also present were Sean McMullen
(Ruekert Mielke) and Ald. Pionek who excused himself from the meeting because of
conflict of interest.

NEW BUSINESS
Rosewood Estates Construction Plan Approval
Per Ruekert and Mielke letter dated October 12, 1999
Item 1: Should storm sewer be extended to pick up flow in existing Westcot Dr?
Letter from Ted Smyczek, Developers engineer, only about 1/3 of an acre would
be picked up by storm sewer and this water now goes westerly and then southerly
in a swale. Sean also stated that less than 1 cfs would flow through storm sewer
and there is no benefit to install over 200 feet of storm sewer for this slight flow.
Ald. Chiaverotti moved to not extend storm sewer to existing Westcot Dr.
Seconded by Ald Salentine, motion carried 2 - 0.
Item 2: Paving
Ald. Chiaverotti moved to leave existing pavement in cul-de-sac. Second by
Ald. Salentine. Letter from engineer noted that this is a dedicated cul-de-sac and
not temporary. Sean had stated that Wayne Delikat had said to leave pavement,
as there is now room to store snow in the winter. Motion carried 2 - 0.
Engineer had requested to be able to use plastic pipe in easement areas.
Committee left this decision up to Wayne Delikat and Sean after getting results in
the next 2 weeks of televising of existing plastic pipe in an existing subdivision.
Engineer had requested that sump pumps for lot 6 and lots 8 through 20 be
allowed to discharge to rear of lots instead into storm sewer in street. Ald.
Chiaverotti moved to approve and Ald. Salentine seconded. Sean had no
problem with this since a ditch is located at rear of these lots and the ditch flows to
detention ponds. Motion carried 2 - 0.
