MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, 1994
The meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M. by Chairman Dumke.
Also present were Committee Members D'Acquisto and Misko, Mayor De
Angelis, Public Works Superintendent John Loughney, Michael
Campbell (Ruekert & Mielke) and those per the attached list.
The Committee noted that the meeting was posted on December 2, 1994, in accordance with the Open Meeting Law.
There was nothing new to report under Urban/Rural Drainage.
Attorney Michael Krill, Terra Development, appeared before the Committee to discuss status of Terra Development projects. A
letter is being drafted to be sent to the Lake Forest Homeowner's
Association addressing their concerns, as well as letters
acknowledging park repairs and status of sunset berm.

Greg and Pam Boehm appeared before the Committee to further
discuss the Anderson drainage concern on Woods Road. Mike
Campbell presented a quote received from MAC Contractors and the
Committee discussed whether to use plastic pipe or concrete.
Extensive discussion was held regarding grade variations and
responsible party for existing drainage problem. There was a
difference of opinions as to interpretations of map contour lines
between Mr. Boehm and City Engineer Campbell. Mr. Boehm stated
his refusal to participate or cooperate in project. Mr. Boehm
sated that the flooding on the Anderson property is due to a
problem caused by previous owner, as well as on his property, and
requested that his map exhibit be attached to the minutes.
The Committee discussed status of Ludwig Subdivision Drainage
easement and determined that both affected property owners will be
requested to attend the January meeting.
Mayor De Angelis reported that the City has not received the
contracts from Mr. Zillig on the turn lane at CTH L & CTH Y but
expect to have them before the end of the month. It was noted
that the Lannon Drive drainage problem has been solved.
The Committee reviewed the following status report that was submitted by Stan Sugden of Ruekert & Mielke on the Little Muskego
lake Dam Retrofit dated December 5, 1994:
All concrete work has been completed, the concrete
forms removed, the structure backfilled and the
steel sheet piling has been removed.
0 The mechanical gates and aluminum railings will be
delivered in late December and installed in early January.

The steel sheeting for the embankment stabilization was delivered today, the crane will be removed this
week and installation should begin by the end of the
week. Tree removal has been completed in this area.
The rip rap work along the channel has been started,
the contractor will commence with this work next week after the crane has been moved.
OUTLOOK: This portion of the project should be
completed by the end of January.
STATUS OF THE EMBANKMENT AND LANDSCAPE: We are
completing final revisions to the plans prior to
submittal to the DNR for approval. Additional
meetings with some homeowners will be scheduled. Bidding for this work will take place in March or
April of 1995.
The Committee discussed status of Moorland Road Extension. Mayor
De Angelis reported that Waukesha County has submitted to the
State a revised project agreement which reflects the correct
funding changes and that the revised agreement will be forthcoming
from the State and RFP for engineers from County. The Committee
will need to select a representative at their January meeting.
Mr. Joseph Santi, resident of the Industrial Park, appeared before
the Committee to discuss status of run-off from Plum Creek East.
Mayor reported that Mr. Bill Carity, Terra Development, has agreed
to work with Mr. Santi but was unable to be present at this
meeting. Discussion ensued about the possible leaking of said
pond; further field work to be forthcoming.
Mr. Lew Averill, engineer for Champions Village (CCV) appeared
before the Committee to report that he has complied with all of
Engineer Ken Ward's objections but due to date change in this
meeting, he has not had the opportunity to submit to Ruekert &
Mielke. Discussion regarding storm sewer revision vs. ditching
still being discussed, as well as entrance way, and these will be
further reviewed at the January meeting. Mr. Averill will return
to the next meeting.
Under Communications and Any Other Business As Authorized by Law,
Mayor De Angelis reported that MS1 General has been working with
Waukesha County and work will be commencing on cross culvert.
