MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 19, 1992
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. by Chairman Dumke. also present were Committee Members Schneider and
Simmons, Public Works Superintendent Loughney, and those per
the attached list.
There was no discussion held under Urban/Rural Drainage.
Mr. Greg Mecha and Mr. Ron Hammond appeared before the
Committee to express concern on the 12' easement recommended by
the City Engineers in order to supply communications to the SCADA RTU located at the Little Muskego Lake Dam. Ald.
Schneider moved to have a letter sent to the City Engineers
inquiring as to why the requested easement has to be 12', as
this seems to be excessive. Seconded by Ald. Simmons, motion
carried.
The Committee further discussed available storage space in the
Public Works Garage for Parks equipment. It was noted that the
Parks Department is in need of approximately 300 sq. ft. of storage room, due to a portion of their area being used to
store two weed cutters, two conveyors and one truck for the
Little Muskego Lake District. The Committee requests that the
Parks Director supply them with information as to how much they are now paying to store equipment and how they are billed;
monthly, etc.
Further discussion was held on the widening of Lannon Drive at
the intersection of CTH L. The Committee read communication
written by the Plan Director to Mr. Zillig, dated November 18,
1992, which indicated that Mr. Zillig must have engineering
design completed by the end of the month and the Letter of
Credit must be extended to June 30, 1993. Ald. Simmons
stressed the importance of completing this project as soon as
possible.
A discussion was held on the turnaround at the end of Kurtze
Lane. Superintendent Loughney and Chairman Dumke will do an onsite inspection and submit recommendation back to the December meeting.
Several residents appeared before the Committee to discuss plowing of Bridgeport Way and other streets in the Lake Point
Estates Subdivision. The residents were assured that the City will plow all the streets in the Subdivision and a letter will
be sent to the Post Office reinstating that the road will be plowed.
The Committee reviewed the following two quotes in answer to the advertisement for sale of firewood:

Ald. Simmons moved to recommend acceptance of the offer received from Tom Zaremba in the amount of $150.00. Seconded
by Ald. Schneider, motion carried.
