MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 22, 1990
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dumke at 7:15 P.M.

Re-routing of the ditch that conveys water from Racine Avenue
west along Woods Road to the culvert property to the school
property was discussed with the developers of Woodcrest
Subdivision. The engineer representing the Subdivision, Stan
Potrykus, indicated that the culvert can be lowered sufficiently
to install a ditch, which negates the City's need for an
invert. The easement dedication will be provided on the final
plat. The ditch will be installed by the Developer and the City
agrees to lower the culvert.

The Committee reviewed Paragraph 6, Page 1 of the Public Works
Committee minutes dated February 22, 1990, regarding shadow lane
requirements that was sent back to Committee at the Council
meeting of March 13, 1990. The Woodcrest developer and the
Woodside developer indicated that they do not feel a need to
provide shadow lanes because these lanes are to serve the school
to be built in the future. It was also noted that a looping of a
water system on Woods Road would necessitate installation in the
same location. Ald. Simmons moved to table. The motion failed
for lack of a second. The Chairman recommended sending the
shadow lane request to Common Council without a recommendation.
Meadow Green West Addn. #l road and drainage plans were reviewed
which provides for forty (40) additional lots. Ald. Dumke moved
to approve subject to complying with City Engineer's
recommendations. Seconded by Aid. Simmons, motion carried.
