MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 19, 1987
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Dumke.
Also present were Committee Members Taube and Sanders, Mayor
Salentine, Supt. Bertram, Ald. DeAngelis and those per the attached list.
The Committee discussed the turn-around on Elm Drive - Marlan
Meadows Subdivision. Mr. John Tobin appeared before the Committee to voice his opposition to a turn-around being put into
the easement area. The easement was part of the Final Plat with the intent to install a turn-around. Supt. Bertram explained the need for the turn-around for snow plowing and general
maintenance. An alternative method was suggested whereby a small
area could be established without destroying several large
trees. Ald. Taube moved that a turn-around area will be
installed and that Supt. Bertram will meet with Ald. Taube and Ald. Sanders at the site to try to determined the best possible
way to accomplish while still maintaining the asthetic qualities
of the area. Seconded by Aid. Sanders, motion carried.
The minutes of the Public Works Committee meeting were amended to
include the Muskego Sun for the publishing of the advertisement
for the Public Works Superintendent position.
Roadway site grading and drainage plans for Woodcrest Heights
Subdivision Phase I were reviewed and approved by the Committee
with an amendment that riprap be installed at the outlet of two
storm pipes (one 24" and one 36") which run through the apartment or duplex area at the north end of the Subdivision.
Mr. Stan Potrykus appeared before the Committee to request
release of the Tree Bond for Lake Meadows Subdivision. Ald.
Taube moved that the 23 lots which have homes but have not planted the required trees be notified, in writing, by Mr.
Potrykus of the Deed Restrictions which require two trees to be
planted. Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried. Ald. Taube
moved to release Tree Bond. Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed a sketch drainage plan submitted by Town &
Country in the Tess Corners Industrial Park which will reditch the drainage areas on the west side of parcel /Il. in order to
eventually erect a building on that site. Ald. Sanders moved to
approve plans. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request for release of funds in escrow
account for Marlan Meadows Subdivision. The Committee agreed to release $433.65 to the Developer and release $4,493.35 to the City for work previously done, which will deplete the account.

Supt. Bertram discussed cleaning of drainage ditch on Diekfuss
and Dahlman property. An agreement as to financial costs for
this project will have to be determined prior to work
commencing.
Town of Waukesha road specifications were discussed and action
was deferred to enable the Public Works Department to compare to
Muskego's road specifications.
The Public Works Committee read and approved the job description
for the Public Works Superintendent and recommended that it be
placed on file for future reference.
The Committee reviewed all applications for the Public Works Superintendent position.
The meeting adjourned at 1O:lO P.M.
