Mr. Ray Christenson appeared before the Committee to discuss the

as is. Ms. Sue Cauley stated that someone had attempted to alter the natural settling of the south pond by digging a ditch at the
outlet of the pond. Supervisor Theis explained that the Parks
Department has attempted to maintain the ditch so that natural flow can be achieved. It was suggested that an outside agency be
consulted to assess the effectiveness of t'ne settling ponds. Mayor Salentine will contact Mr. Orville Kurth of the Soil
Conservation Department and set up a meeting for an on-site
inspection with Supt. Bertram and a member of the Lake Denoon
Association. It was noted that the DNR has full jurisdiction
over the ponds for two years after their completion.

Development on Lake Denoon. Mr. Ray Christenson stated that the Lake Denoon Association is in favor of open ditches as opposed to
curb and gutters. A cost comparison estimate by the City Engineers was read concerning the development. Ald. Dumke moved to app'rove open ditches. Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion
carried. It was noted that deed restrictions will be required by the Developer to maintain the drainage ditches.

for Meadow Green Subdivision. Mr. Greg Boehm presented the Committee with a list of items to be incorporated into the
