The Committee reviewed the TIF projects. Due to the recent heavy rains, the Public Works Department has not been able to remove the peat from the Pellmann property.
Correspondence from the City Engineer's office was reviewed and
the Committee noted the following work that needs to be
completed:
1. Regrading of approximately 200 feet of drainage
ditch, west of Mercury Drive and north of Saturn
Drive, which presently ponds water.

of Enterprise Drive just west of Challenger Drive.

of a poor grass growth to date.

the Switala ditch on Woods Road due to the wide shoulder that exists there.

the final coat probably will be applied before the end of the year.
The area surrounding the new water tower has been landscaped by
the Public Works Department.

request that the City restore the affected area to its original
condition in order to correct the drainage problem. supt.
Bertram will lay sod in the area to correct the situation.
A revised Preliminary Plat of Durhamswood Addn. #l was presented
to the Committee by Robert Klenz and Stan Potrykus. A large
group of residents from Freedom Acres Subdivision voiced concern
of the impact of additional surface drain water from the proposed
Subdivision. The area is already indunated with drain water from'
the heavy rainfall which fell this past Spring & Summer. It was
agreed that the natural topography of the land promotes water
drainage from Woods Road south to McShane Drive. Supt. Bertram
will review the drainage situation in Freedom Acres Subdivision,
and report back to the Committee at the October meeting. Stan
Potrykus will review the drainage plans for the Durhamswood Addn.
#1 to insure that the water will flow to the southeast corner of
the Subdivision.

Committee by Mr. Gregory Boehm. Ald. Hilt moved to allow open
ditches in the development due to the topography. Seconded by
Ald. Sanders, motion carried.

Road. The Committee determined that it is not feasible to change
the location of the drainage pipe at the present time.

of a subdivision be required to install a street light or lights at the entrance to the subddvision and that this become a part of
the Subdividers Agreement.
The Urban Drainage Project was reviewed.
