MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 23, 1986
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
DeAngelis. Also present were Committee Members Hilt and Tomczyk,
Supt. Bertram and Wil Vidal.
The Committee reviewed TIF projects. Kurtze Lane restoration
will be completed in the Spring. The Committee discussed the
traffic control lights on Tess Corners Drive & Highway 24 and
Lannon Drive & Highway 24 regarding the possibility of painting
directional arrows on Lannon & Tess Corners roads. This will be
evaluated in the Spring to expedite the traffic flow. Another
possibility that will be looked into is installing arrow lights
on the arterial lights.
Ald. Hilt suggested that the Farm Drainage Policy be referred to as the Urban Drainage Policy as it affects the entire City. It
was determined that the City's drainage ditches shall have first
priority for cleaning.
Ald. DeAngelis reported that the Culvert Crossing (Tess Corners & Woods Road Drainage Project) is near completion with the
exception of the mortared rip rap. This project will be reviewed
in early Spring.
The Committee reviewed the restoration complaint for Pellmann
Lane and determined that the landscaping request of Mrs. Pellmann
will be reviewed in early Spring.
Ingersoll Cable Co., Inc.'s, restoration bond was discussed and
the Committee recommends that the bond remain as is.
Mr. Wil Vidal advised the Committee that he would like to re-bid
the Jewel Creek Drainage Project. Ald. Hilt moved to recommend
Council approval. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk, motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk moved to recommend that the Council authorize the
City Engineers to prepare plans & specifications for road and
culvert construction for the Industrial Park Expansion and
prepare necessary bidding documents. Seconded by Ald. Hilt,
motion carried.
The Committee discussed the water lines being installed at the
Industrial Park Addition. Supt. Bertram advised the Committee
that Globe Contractors had broken a valve while installing the
water mains. Lanson Industries have incurred damages as a result
of this problem. The Committee determined that any cost incurred
would be the responsibility of the Contractor.
supt. Bertram advised the Committee he would like to participate ! with the Waukesha County Public Works Association in obtaining
bids for a pickup truck and patrol truck which were approved in
the 1986 Capital Budget. Ald. Tomczyk moved to'approve.
Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.

The Committee reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting and
placed them on file.
