MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 5, 1985
The meeting was called to order by Chairman DeAngelis at i':GG
P.M. Also present were Committee Members Hilt and Tomczyk, Mayor Salentine, Supt. Bertram and Wil Vidal.
The Committee reviewed TIF projects. supt. Bertram advised the
Committee that the Gaulke project can not materialize as the DNR
will not permit concrete inverts.
Repairs or reconstruction of the Tess Corners bridge was
discussed and it was noted that the Committee has been advised
that no permits are necessary for culverts in the Cornell area.
The Committee recommends that Ruekert & Mielke discontinue any
further studies regarding the Gaulke Drive Drainage Project.
Mr. Vidal updated the Committee on the Jewel Creek Drainage Project and requested approval for the Association to start the
2nd phase of project by applying for another state grant. Ald.
Tomczyk recommend approval of the continuation of the project. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee deferred discussion on Ann Drive until further
information is obtained.

Restoration work for various road, drainage, sewer, water, etc.,
projects were discussed and it was decided that a policy must be determined as to how these problems are to be handled.
The road layout for the Industrial Park was reviewed and Ald.
Hilt moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk,
motion carried.
Supt. Bertram reviewed with the Committee the "paging system" for weekends in case of inclement weather. He advised the Committee
that the Public Works Department feels the person who is
responsible to answer the page should get two hours pay for Saturday and two hours pay for Sunday and Holidays. The Public
Works bargaining representatives will meet with Mayor Salentine
and Alds. Dumke and DeAngelis to work out an agreement.
Supt. Bertram informed the Committee of a VAC-ALL piece of
equipment for cleaning culverts, sewers, etc., that he felt could be shared between the Public Works Department and the Sewer
Utility. This item will be referred to the Capital Budgeting
Committee for a decision as to whether it will be included in the
Public Works Budget or come out of TID #l.
