Public Works Committee - MINUTES - 3/21/1985PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 21, 1985 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Penovich at 7:00 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Hilt and DeAngelis, Mayor Salentine, Stan Potrykus and Harold DeBack. The Committee discussed the proposed Aud-Mar Estates curb, gutter and road plans with the developer, Stan Potrykus. Mr. Potrykus is requesting that the City waive the requirement of providing curbs, storm sewers and gutters. He stated that the cost to install curbs, storm sewers and gutters to the properties would be a cost to him of $3,111 per lot. The Committee requests the City Engineer to review the drainage plan and substantiate if there is a need for curbs, storm sewers and gutters. The Committee discussed ditch improvements and proposed roads for the Industrial Park. Mr. Harold DeBack appeared before the Committee to discuss improvements to the ditch which boarders the Industrial Park and Mr. DeBack's land. The Committee will bid out cleaning of ditch when road improvements are being let. The Committee discussed the resurfacing of Bass Bay area. It was decided that a small storm water system will be installed underneath the road before resurfacing. consist of a 2" base material asphalt. The resurfacing will The Committee will discuss this at the next meeting. The Committee reviewed the escrow account - Guernsey Meadows Addn. 111 and tried to determine whether or not all bills have been submitted and paid in order to release the amount of $3,000 still in escrow. The Committee also determined that the berm will remain at this time. The Committee requests that the Building Inspection Department make sure that all bills are satisfied and then proceed to close out account. The Committee reviewed TIF projects, especially the St. Paul's Church drainage project. The Committee reviewed minutes of the previous meeting. Respectfully submitted, Ald.
