Public Works Committee - MINUTES - 6/11/1985PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 11, 1985
The meeting was called to order by Chairman DeAngelis at
1:05 P.M. Also present were Committee Member Tomczyk, Mayor Salentine, Supt. Bertram, and Mr. John White of the Wisconsin
Department of Transportation.
The Committee discussed Engineering Improvements for the Industrial Park. supt. Bertram informed the Committee that
presently the City would not have to build a retention pond at
the Industrial Park. He stated that building the retention pond
would require DNR approval, which could be very time consuming
with needless delays. He further advised the Committee that the
City could clean the creek ditch which would handle the drainage of the Industrial Park.
The Committee recommended that Supt. Bertram bid out the cleaning
of the ditch and set up top soil sites with the City Engineer or
Mike Mooney. The Committee recommended that Supt. Bertram plug
and cap old well on Loomis farm and have the grader move
foundation along the creek.
Mr. John White, Wisconsin Department of Transportation, hand-
delivered the Application and Agreement on Traffic Signal
Installation Maintenance & Operation for approval. He discussed both the site on S.T.H. 24 & Tess Corners Drive and S.T.H. 24 &
Lannon Drive. He also discussed the pedestrian "Walk-Don't Walk"
lights.
The meeting adjourned at 1:50 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Ald. Ralph Tomczyk
