Public Works Committee - MINUTES - 9/20/1984PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 20, 1984 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Penovich. Also present were Committee Members DeAngelis and Hilt, Mr. Diekfuss, Ald. Gaetzke, Superintendent Bertram, Grover Castine and Jeffrey Kloskowski. Mr. Diekfuss appeared before the Committee in regard to drainage problems east of Guernsey Meadow. The Schaefer farm retards the water from flowing from Mr. Diekfuss's farm because the ditch is full of foreign matter; i.e. brush, dirt, etc. The City will write to Mr. Tom Dahlman requesting he attend the next Public Works Committee meeting in order to discuss the problem regarding the Schaefer farm. Mr. Castine and Mr. Kloskowski appeared before the Committee to present the 1985 Proposed Public Works Employees' Contract. The contract proposal will be forwarded to the Finance Committee. The Committee discussed the Erosion problem on the David Ludwig property. Ald. Hilt moved that in the event that David Ludwig does not sign the easement for the Kurtze Lane Road Project, the Public Works Committee will recommend condemnation in order to complete the road project. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried. The Commitee reviewed the request for a sidewalk on Durham Drive which was submitted to the Public Safety Committee. The Committee reviewed the Waste Management request for resurfacing of Wauer Lane. Waste Management will pay for the cost of asphalting and the City will take care of the Shoulders. The Committee reviewed TIF Projects. The Committee reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M. Respectfully submitted, Ald. Frank DeAngelis Secretary ca ,
