MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 13, 1984
Chairman Penovich called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M.
Also present were Committee Members Dumke and DeAngelis, Supt. Bertram and Mayor Salentine.
The Committee reviewed the Tess Corners Drainage Project and
noted that St. Paul's has agreed to reroute the creek, but that
property owner Mr. Rozek disagrees. St. Paul's will have a
study committee review the proposed map.
The Committee discussed the proposed Hwy. 24 Drainage Project
east of St. Paul's. Ald. DeAngelis moved to have the Public Works Department do the work with the culvert to be paid for by
the State, if the project is approved by St. Paul's council, and to acquire the necessary easements. Aid. Dumke seconded, motion carried.
The Committee will invite all persons interested in the Tess
Corners Drainage Project at Hwy. 24 and Tess Corners Drive to the next Public Works Committee meeting.
The Committee discussed the culvert in Woods Road east of Sandy Beach Dr. Ald. DeAngelis moved to replace the pipe and reconstruct the road, to be done by the present contractors and the Public Works Department at a cost not to exceed $15,000. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee directed the City Attorney to proceed with
acquiring the easements for the Kurtze Lane Road Project.
The Committee discussed fill permits and decided to take no
action at this time.
The Committee discussed the sale of the City-owned lot on
Lochcrest Drive. The Committee expressed no objection to selling that portion not needed for the possible future
extension of Shore Lane.
The Committee discussed the sale of city-owned lots in the area
of Tess Corners Retention Pond and expressed no objection to the proposed sale.
The Committee discussed the closing of an access to Clifford's
as required by the State. The Committee noted that the access
would be closed by the Public Works Department and that the
owners had been notified. The Committee requested that the owners be invited to the next meeting to discuss their request
for an access further south on Kristin Drive.

The fencing at Glenbrook Drainage Project will be discussed by
the Committee at a later date.
The Committee discussed the dams in Muskego and noted that a
meeting will be held in March in Madison regarding inspections
by the State.
The meeting adjourned at 4:30 P.M.
