PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 7, 1984
The meeting was called to order at 8:20 P.M. by acting Chairman
DeAngelis. Also present were Committee Member Hilt, Mayor
Salentine, Superintendent Bertram and Genevieve Brown. Alderman
Penovich was absent.
Superintendent Bertram reported that there are no signed
agreements for the Tess Corners project. The Committee
recommended the necessary steps be taken to acquire easements for
the ditch east of Tess Corners bridge known as the Gaulke Drive
Project.
The Committee reviewed the May 23 letter from St. Paul's Church
and recommended that the City Engineer prepare a legal
description necessary for the acquisition of the easement.
The Committee discussed the ditch between Salentine's Tire Store and the Family Craft Tree. It will have 130' of closed culvert
and the remainder of the drainage way will be concrete invert
with sidewalls.
The Committee reviewed the remaining TIF projects.
Mrs. Brown appeared representing Cliffords. The state
requirement of closing the illegal access on Kristin Drive just
south of Highway 24 was discussed. Ald. DeAngelis moved to have
the Public Works Department close the existing access. Ald. Hilt
seconded, motion carried.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed.
The Committee discussed the Lake Meadows Settling Pond.
Superintendent Bertram will check with the DNR to determine the
status of the ponds in the future after all subdivision
construction is completed.
Superintendent Bertram recommended that the Committee request
Ingersoll Cable to install cable on back slopes of the ditches. The Committee instructed Superintendent Bertram to advise
Ingersoll to lay the cables on the back slopes or utility easements.
The meeting adjourned at 9:50 P.M.
