Public Works Committee - MINUTES - 9/22/19830 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 22, 1983
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Penovich at 8 00 P.M.
Also present were Committee Member DeAngelis, Mayor Salentine and Supt. Bertram. Ald. Dumke was absent.
The Committee discussed the Switala Drainage Channel (Cleanout,
Ditch Relocating and Rough Grading Project, Final Grading Project). Ald. DeAngelis moved to recommend approval not to exceed $10,000
for the Switala Drainage Channel. Seconded by Ald. Penovich.
Motion carried.
The Committee discussed reconstruction of Schultz Lane (Klauser property). The Committee decided to defer action until the next meeting
so that the City Attorney can check on the easement papers.
The Committee discussed the Ditch Invert Policy. After much discussion the Committee decided to defer action until their next mee~ting when they will have additional informa,tion.
The Committee discussed the Schreiber Drainage Problem. A member of this committee will check with Mr. Schreiber to see if he has
contacted his surveyors. Mr. Bertram will put fill in the low spots between the houses.
The Committee reviewed the TIF projects.
Mr. Chuck Morin and Mr. Grover Castine appeared before the Committee
to review the 1984 Public Works Labor Contract.
The meeting adjourned at 9;30 P.M.
