MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 20, 1983
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Penovich at 8:00 P.M.
Also present were Committee Members DeAngelis and Dumke, Mayor
Salentine, Supt. Bertram and Ald. Nilsson.
The Committee discussed the reconstruction of Schultz;-Lane.
Ald. Dumke will contact Atty. Molter concerning the ownership of this lane.
The Committee acknowledged receipt of a request from Reesman's
Excavating requesting a two week extension on the Lembezederl
Gold Drainage Project contract to complete restoration. Ald.
DeAngelis moved to grant the request. Seconded by Ald. Dumke,
motion carried.
The Committee discussed the ditch elevation on the Johnson
property on Lannon Drive. The Committee felt that when it is
seeded or soded next spring the elevation will be according to
plans. The Committee also noted that drainage corrections will
be made on the Meadowdale Drainage Project in the area of North Lane and Meadow Dr., and Hedgewood and Southern Drive.
supt. Bertram reported that the Lamb property has been brushed
out across from the Switala property in relation to the Switala
Drainage Project.
The Committee discussed the request of Ingersoll Cable Corporation
for a blanket permit for road openings in connection with cable
installation. supt. Bertram will contact Mr. Ingersoll to obtain
information on the bond necessary, road opening fees, locations,
and all phases of his project.
The Committee discussed a shadow lane on Hwy. 24 and Lakes Pkwy.
supt. Bertram explained that it is the opinion of the State Highway
Commission that there is not enough traffic at that location to
warrant a shadow lank.
The Committee acknowledged receipt of a request for release of
the bond submitted to cover any damages to Henneberry Road and
Crowbar Drive in connection with the hauling of clay soils from
the Lekfield Farm to the Muskego Landfill site. supt. Bertram
reported that the roads have been repaired. The Committee recommen-
ded that the bond be released.
The meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
