MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 9, 1983
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 P.M. by Chairman
Penovich. Also present were Committee Members Dumke and
DeAngelis, Ald. Gaetzke, Supt. Bertram and those persons
the attached list.

Mr. Richard Hoffman appeared at the meeting concerning the
detention pond in the Glenbrook subdivision. The drainage
project was explained to Mr. Hoffman. It was also noted that
all trees along the lot lines will be saved if possible.
The committee discussed the Tess Corners drainage project with
Mr. MacIntyre of Open Pantry. It was noted that the drainage
ditch would be underground, and that this project would be
started soon in order to comply with the TIF deadline. Ald.
DeAngelis moved to proceed with this project. Seconded by
Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The committee discussed the Lembezeder-Gold Dr. Drainage Project
in TID #5. Aid. DeAngelis moved to complete this project
without the Froelich property easement. Seconded by Ad.
Penovich, motion carried.
The committee discussed the drainage project behind St. Paul's
Church.
Chairman Penovich read a letter he had written to Mr. Kettner
regarding the catch basin, and advised he had not received a
response. Ald. DeAngelis moved to have Supt. Bertram correct the problem as soon as possible. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
The committee discussed the Hwy. 45 construction project and noted that the state now planned to proceed with the reconstruc-
tion of an 80 ft. roadway.
Ald. DeAngelis moved to allow the Public Works Department
$3,000 for additional gravel. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried. 1 '1
The committee acknowledged receipt of a letter from the Town
of Vernon requesting the posting of a "Cass B Highway Ahead"
sign on Kelsey Drive. The committee directed Supt. Bertram to write to the Town of Vernon to advise them that the Public Works
Committee feltthat such a posting would create additional
undesirable traffic on Muskego's roads.
The committee discussed a request for release of funds from the
escrow account of Guernsey Meadows Addn. No. 1. Mr. G. P. Lee
was present and explained the problems in this subdivision.
Mr. Lee stated there is $10,000 in the account, and after re-
lease of the $5,054.50 to the City and $2,992 to AAA Grading,
the balance in the account will be $1,953.50. Mr. Lee noted
that these funds would be held by the City until the work com-
pleted, and would be paid to Lamb's Nursery in quarterly install-
ments. The committee directed Mr. Lee to contact the developer concerning the possible lowering of the utility poles sitting
on high ground, and to hold the funds until they are removed. Ald. DeAngelis moved, seconded by Ald. Dumke to release the
funds subject to the above conditions. Motion carried.
supt. Bertram discussed with the committee the No Parking sign
on Muskego Dr. from Martin to Hardtke Dr. This was referred to
the Public Safety Committee.
supt. Bertram was directed to contact to DeBack Grading concernin the Tess Corners Detention Pond problems to negotiate a proposal
for the reconstruction on a 50150 basis. supt. Bertram will
rep\ort back to the committee at the next meeting. \
