Public Works Committee - MINUTES - 2/5/1983PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 1983 I CI- The meeting was called to order at 10:ZO A.M. by Acting Chairman Ald. Dumke. Also present were Committee Member Colburn, Mayor Salentine, Supt. Bertram, Mr. Duane Elertson, Mr. Kenneth Laschen and Yr. David Ludwig. Committee Chairman Penovich was absent. Yr. David Ludwig appeared at the meeting to discuss his problem of installing a drainage ditch at the end of Kurtze Lane. reaffirmed its position that the drainage ditch is necessary and will direct Ruekert and Mielke to apply for the necessary permits for the relocation of the ditch from the David Ludwig property to Bass Bay. The proposed drainage ditch in the area of Lembezeder Drive and Gold Drive was discussed. The committee is recommending the approval of the most recent plans for the project, subject to Supt. Bertram discussing the matter with Mrs. Rae. Mr. Kenneth Laschen assured the members of the cornittee that he was in agreement with the proposed plans and that he would be willing to sign the necessary easement for the project of the storm sewer to proceed. The committee discussed the Tess Corners Drainage Project as proposed for the area south of College Ct. in the Tess Corners Industrial Park. The cornittee noted that several of the udjucent property owners were not in favor of constructing a retention pond und it was their decision that no action would be taken at this time. The cornittee diecuesled the hleudowdule Subdivision Uruinuge Project. It is their recommendation that a corregated metal pipe be installed along the Neil Borgman property line. The project plan is being referred to the Plan Commission for their approval. The possibility Of installing a drainage ditch along the south line of Glenbrook Subdivision was discussed. Ald. Colburn moved to recommend to Common Council that Ruekert and Mielke be authorized to proceed with the necessary plans and specifications for the project. Seconded by Ald. Dwnke. Motion carried.
