MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 11, 19SS
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Penovich at 8 P.M. Also present were Committee Members Dumke and DeAngelis, Mr.
Alvin Guhr, Mr. Switala, Ald. Gaetzke and Supt. Bertram.
The Committee discussed the ditch located between Larkspur and Somerset. The pipe was reset on Somerset and if necessary the ditch from Somerset to Larkspur will be hand dug.
Mr. Guhr appeared before the Committee to discuss the ditch
between Racine Avenue and Kelsey Drive, The Committee discussed
cleaning this ditch and others and noted this was not done in
the past. Ald. Penovich will contact Supervisor Narlock and
Supervisor Guhr to check if the drainage board is still in
operation.
The Committee will discuss the possible reconstruction of Schultz
Lane when a decision is made regarding the method of payment of
this project. Further discussion will be held at the next Public
Works meeting.
Mr. Ray Gray was unavailable for this meeting. The Committee
will discuss Guernsey Meadows Addn. 1 Landscaping at their
next meeting.
The Committee reviewed the TIF projects.
Mr. Frank Switala, Sr. presented maps showing the existing ditch with
the property line and also the proposed ditch. Mr. Switala will
allow Supt. Bertram to cut down the weeds on his property so a
contractor can give a cost estimate.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
The meeting adjourned at 10 05 P.M.
