MINUTES OF BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 25, 1990.
Chairman Gerald Fohr called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
PRESENT: - Chairman Gerald Fohr, Thomas Berken, Lloyd Erno,
Donald Pionek and Director Gerald Lee
ABSENT: - Vice -Chairman Terry O'Neil, Bonnie Posbrig and Daryl
Rowinski.
MINUTES:
Mr. Erno made a motion to approve the Minutes of the
September 27, 1990 meeting and Mr. Berken seconded. Upon a voice
vote the motion passed unanimously.
APPEAL 25-90-CRAIG LAWDANSKI - Chairman Fohr read the
appeal for Craig Lawdanski requesting 37 1/2' setback variance
from Bay Lane Place extended north and 42' setback variance from
Bay Lane Place to construct a 12' x 16' storage shed at S79
W16099 Bay Lane Place. RS-3 Zoning. Chairman Fohr asked Mr. Lee
to brief the commissioners on this appeal. Mr. Lee stated this
is the third appeal in this area. The road severed the lot and
makes it necessary to make this request for an accessory
building. Chairman Fohr asked Mr. Craig Lawdanski to explain his
request and state his hardship. He said his parents own the
property. He is requesting that prior to the house being built
on the lot, the existing house be demolished and the existing
shed be removed also. Chairman Fohr was concerned that the shed
would be close to Helen Anderson's garage. Mr. Lee said it would
be approximately 7' away. Chairman Fohr asked if anyone had any
questions to ask Mr. Lawdanski? Mr. Erno said the old shed
should be removed but give a deadline for removal. Chairman Fohr
informed Mr. Lawdanski they will try to reach a decision tonight
and he could call the Building Inspection Office in the morning
or wait for the decision to be mailed to him within five days.
The Board remained in Open Session.
APPEAL 25-90 - CRAIG LAWDANSKI - The Board felt the old
shed and house should be demolished. Mr. Erno made a motion to
grant a 37 1/2' setback variance from Bay Lane Place extended
north and a 42' setback variance from Bay Lane Place to construct
a 12' x 16' storage shed at S79 W16099 Bay Lane Place as
requested conditioned that the house be demolished first and the
old existing shed be removed 10 days after the new shed is
constructed. The hardship being the road split the lot. Mr.
Berken seconded. Upon a roll call vote the motion to grant the
variance passed unanimously.
Pg. 2, BOARD OF APPEALS MINUTES-10/25/90

Appeals Meeting date. He suggested they meet on Thursday,

court case.

Dear Mayor Salentine and Board of Appeals Members:
Attached, please find a detail sketch of this request for a storage
shed to be located at S79 W16099 Bay Lane Place. The existing home
on this sight is scheduled for demolition late October, 1990. This
shed would be 12x16 and used to store furniture, lawn mowers, etc.
from existing cottage until a new home is built on sight.
The road set back would be the same as the new garage located at
S79 W16099 Bay Lane Place to keep some uniformity in this area.
Side and rear setbacks would be as per sketch.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any
time.
Sincerely,
Craig Lawdanski
