Thank you. Sincerely, BOARD OF APPEALS Lynne Sweet Recording Secretary /is cc: Chairman Gerald Fohr CITY OF MUSKEGO BOARD OF APPEALS MINUTES OF BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING HELD ON July 24, 1986. Chairman Gerald Fohr called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. PRESENT: Chairman Gerald Fohr, Vice Chairman Lloyd Erno, Thomas Berken, Carol Nievinski, Linda Koester, and Zoning Officer Gerald Lee ABSENT: Vincent Caporali, Peter Passick MINUTES: Mr. Berken moved to adopt the minutes of the June 26, 1986 meeting. Mrs. Nievinski seconded and the motion carried. APPEAL 14-86 - WIZA INDUSTRIES Zoning Officer Lee explained the request y Wiza In ustries of a 5' combined total side yard offset to allow building expansion. The proposed 55' X 100' addition when constructed will leave a 10' offset on the east side of the building and a 15' offset on the west side of the building totaling 25'. The rules for the Industrial Park require that the combined offsets shall not be less than 30' thus the 5' variance request. The Board remained in open session. The appeal for the construction of the fire tower for the Muskego Volunteer Fire Department was discussed. The consensus of the Board of Appeals was that the original appeal has been denied because of the condition placed on the appeal stating that Mr. Masterson would have no objection to the siren being placed on the lot line. In a letter dated June 11, 1986 Mr. Masterson replied that Dandilion Park has been listed for sale and it was his opinion that any new owner would not want the siren near their home or business and that he would not sign the approval form. Chairman Fohr stated that City Attorney Molter had requested information regarding Appeal 4-86, Gary Januszewski's request to construct a garage on his property. The Board of Appeals after deliberation decided that they could not find a hardship to grant a variance for Mr. Januszewski other than one that was directly created by Mr. Januszewski himself. Appeal 14-86 WIZA INDUSTRIES Mr. Fohr moved to approve the appeal as submitted. Mr. Erno seconded and the motion carried. The hardship is the placement of the existing building on the lot and the pond in the rear of the parcel. ADJOURNMENT; Mr. Bergen moved to adjourn at 8 :12P . M . Mrs. Koester seconded and the motion carried.
